original artwork by Flora Scalamandré for the newly opened (and now late,
lamented) Gino of Capri restaurant in 1945, Scalamandré’s beloved, signature
wallpaper, also available as a fabric, was immortalized in films such as "Mighty
Aphrodite" and "The Royal Tennenbaums" along with making guest appearances
across the country via Kate Spade and Barneys New York retail installations.
