Let Trumpets Sound & the Winner Is.......

The Winner of the Pillow from Anita the owner of Pillow Mint is Lisa Porter! She chose the Vintage Ornate Urvi which is so unique , really stunning! Congratulations Lisa!!

I was so fortunate to get away with a friend for a long weekend at The Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. Such a fabulous time and the hotel is superb and five star. The first class service and the staff were extremely accommodating.

Mere steps from the Las Vegas Strip, the 64-story Trump Hotel Las Vegas towers gracefully above all nearby buildings with a strong golden facade reflective of the richness of the iconic Donald J. Trump hotel collection.

So Luxurious!

Stylish, classy and conveniently located, Trump Hotel Las Vegas takes comfort to the next level. The lobby is impeccably decorated with several plush places to sit and relax, including seating in the DJT bar. Personal service at the non-smoking, non-gaming property is second to none, starting at the valet and extending throughout a stay.

Rooms in the all-suite Trump Hotel feature king-sized beds with Sterns and Foster mattresses and 500 thread count Bellini sheets, European-style kitchens and appointments by Wolf, Bosch, and Sub-Zero. The luxurious Italian marble baths are outfitted with twin sinks, custom vanities, marble counter tops, spa tubs and a 14-inch television embedded in the mirror.

The Pool, spa, and Exercise rooms are incredible. None of these photos reflect the really grand luxury of the hotel.

One thing we really appreciated was that the hotel itself does not have a Casino which meant a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Of course we were surrounded by Casinos galore nearby, although we were there to wind down and just enjoy. I do recommend the excellent Jubilee production at Bally's.

Welcome to Enright Gardens

The Nursery Season at Enright Gardens is coming to an End

Artful Inspiration from Nature and Colors

Enright Gardens has been in business for over 30 years, starting with only one greenhouse. Now with the addition of our latest tomato house we have 18. Our newest greenhouse will house the tomatoes we are raising to be sold at our Edgerton location and at the Kansas City River Market.Steve and Sue came to Edgerton in 1976.

They built their first greenhouse and began growing mostly tomatoes and vegetables, which were transplanted to a field on their property. The harvested vegetables were sold at the Kansas City River Market. After a few years, they decided to follow in Sue's parents' foot steps and began raising flowers too.

As their focus shifted from raising vegetables to growing bedding plants, more greenhouses were erected. Eventually, they stopped growing the vegetables in the fields, but still raised the vegetable plants in the greenhouses. A love for growing quality plants has been part of both Steve and Sue's entire lives.

As children and throughout their teenage years, both Steve and Sue helped raise plants and sold them at the Market. In fact, Steve and Sue first met each other at the River Market while selling their goods. Bo, who is Steve and Sue's only son, was raised in the fields and greenhouses, learning about plants as his parents worked. He harvested vegetables and melons, watered the flowers and helped sell the plants at the Market. After working for a decade as a diesel mechanic, he has returned to the business his family has known for years. Now, along with his parents, he has started the process of teaching his 4 year old son Ethan the art of caring for plants.

Enright Gardens also has a huge assortment of ironwork trellises, pots, benches, plants stands, and more!
