The lengths he goes to and the techniques Gulden uses to capture these fine animals by resorting to new ways of innovation, is much of what makes these incredible photographs so memorable. Using infra-red beam, David was able to capture the elusive Mountain Bongo, a large antelope thought to be extinct in the wild.

Hi, Karena,
Two thoughts come to me as I look at David Gulden's beautiful photographs — that he has a wonderful sense of humor, and that he must be an incredibly patient man to so perfectly capture such interesting poses. Unfortunately, the loss that David is documenting in Africa is happening around the world.
Magic, sheer magic! His pictures capture so much more than just "an animal" or "a tree" - they speak! So many made me smile - I have to buy this book now to see the rest.
Gorgeous images, Karena, and we agree with LBD - David captures much more than the animal. What a beautiful gift fo all the animal lovers we know.
