Oh Karena, it was so inspiring to visit you over at Cindys
Rough Luxe lifestyles...
A side of you that makes me wish that much more that i had béen able to meet up with you and Andrea. I know that there will be more times for a meeting in the future.
As for your works of art, I left a comment you can read over at Cindy's I meant every word of it.
I love the painting with the Bleu sky and dark horizon and the same one Cindy likes, it would be the one with the pink sky if I designed more around pinks in my home, but truly find something so spiritual in each and everyone.
I knew you were an artist but did not have a chance to get to know enough of that side of you until Cindy's wonderful spotlighting of you.
I hope to see you post more of you, your raw side of beauty.
Would love to sit by your side someday and just paint, listening to it ,
just listening.

Hello Karena, Now that I'm back from our trip I'm able to do some catch up on my favorite blogs. I enjoyed reading more about you on Cindy's blog and seeing your inspiring, soulful paintings. You put your heart into your art and everything you do and it shows. Thank you for sharing your beauty and for stopping by my blog this summer.

You truly are a delight! What talent!
Karena - such beautiful paintings! Great interview, I feel I learned a little bit more about you!
WOW! KARENA! Your art, it is juicy and delicious! I must go read this now, and thank you SO MUCH for coming to comment and for being a part of the link party. It really was a blast. And congratulations to Penny, indeed! OK, now off to read! Anita
I just went to Cindy's blog and Karena, I am so impressed. Forgive me for never even observing your own art! That pink sky is my absolute favorite. You are inspiring me for I love the simplicity with which you capture a most complicated emotion in the heavens, on the horizon where sea and sky kiss. THANK YOU!!!!!
Karena, that was a great interview,
needless to say the art is wonderful. Great advise about visiting galleries. I am not one to toot my horn so I need someone to sponsor my art. yvonne

I will have to visit Cindy's blog...shes a doll! Your art is fabulous...
Congrats Karena...hopping over now!!
Hi Karena, how are you feeling? I still want to get a note off to you and will soon, I look at your address daily on the top of the heap on my desk :)
I found these two baskets within two days apart two separate shops, a rarer find around here in our thrift shopping or vintage mall shops!
I am having so much fun adding these two to my home of natural tones and white Frenchness.
I do hope Andrea brings back some wonderful baskets, I just love her shopping totes. I am not going to miss the next meeting up with the two of you, any any mishap will have to wait :)
I hope your days are filled with inspiration to paint more of your beautiful passion on canvas. I paint most of the time on wood, old salvage, and on paneling wood, I love the texture it has on one side and the slickness of the other side; it gives me a choice in how I want my art to look and feel, yet most of the time it's the rough canvas wood fiber grain that works well for me. I have painted on canvas boards yet not stretched canvas, it's a whole other medium I have trouble feeling comfortable with.
I love your free spirit in your art, and the darker side of who you paint for. It's mood is intoxicating yet, I am sure you have experienced that feeling with every stroke, I have painted some seascapes and try to get away from a tight grip of the brush, I need to loosen up and just paint. I am wishing I could study your work up close and personally, letting it inspire something in me :)
See you soon,
Xoxo
