A Time for Gratitude

There are times in life ( for me anyway) when I realize how very fortunate I am in so many ways. My family, my friends, the followers of this blog. It seems that even when life throws me a curve ball, there have always been many of you right by my side to help in any way you could.

Even if I do not thank you enough, please know that I appreciate you more than you can ever imagine and only hope that I can be there for you when you need me or at least pay it forward in some special way!

Wishing You All a Magical and Adventure Filled New Year in 2015

As this current year ends; every New Year brings us the opportunity for innovative  intentions, special  adventures  and a chance to reflect on the times and events of the past year.

Many of us will ring in the season with a beautiful bottle of champagne and a magical evening with friends! Some will spend a quiet evening at home surrounded by the loving warmth of family.

One thing I intend in 2015 is to look for beauty and joy all around me. I will  spread love, peace, and light everywhere I go and to everyone I meet.

LIfe is never perfect and there will always be challenges and rainy days. Yet, there is so much in life that I have to be grateful!

Surrounding myself with light from above will keep me ever thankful.

Embracing New Adventures!!

So celebrate this wondrous life we have here on Earth and remember that all good things come to us in the most unexpected ways!

Holiday Table with Isabella & Reminder of our Twelve Days of Holidays Giveaway Event!

My beautiful granddaughter Isabella has been staying with me this past week and helping me with so much!

She has decided to be an Interior Designer and loves to come over and change the decor around in my condominium!

We decided to take the Thanksgiving decor down and do a Christmas Holiday Table. So much of my holiday decorations are packed away right now. Look how she made what we had available ( mainly) in the Living Room Armoir work for the tablescape. She also plans to put out more crystal stemware, etc.

How fortunate can I be to have a family and friends that care about me so much!

Art Art Everywhere

With grown children and having downsized considerably. I love living the condominium lifestyle.I moved back to Kansas City from San Diego to be close to my large family. Then lo and behold my sister Cynthia and fave brother-in-law Michael both received job offers they could not refuse in

Scottsdale.

Cynthia has always been the one to encourage me to follow my dreams and keep up that great "can do" attitude. When she looked at my new blog spot and saw the article about the Plaza Art Fair and the Renaaissance Festival, it was a lot for her to take in, and she was feeling a little blue. I know she misses being here, and I really, really miss her too!

My Mother and Father came by today as I needed to take their truck to pick up two huge canvases at Creative Coldsnow. I have an inkling of a couple of projects....each needing a great deal more notes and consideration. What was I thinking! And yes, I do take commissioned projects!
