I decided to do a triptych of what started to be ribbons, then lassos, then pathways. Of course it could be all of the above. When arranged in a horizontal pattens the paths converge. I liked this vertical look. It is reminding me of directions for 2009. Where are you going this year? A new career path? A new outlook on life. Resolutions you are fairly sure you will keep? Let me know...

I really like these, Karen! I just did a very similar commission for a client and it was a fun departure from my usual, more rigid, style.
I am confident that good things are ahead for 2009, moving on and making the most of every moment!
Anne, Thank you, I would love to see your commissioned art, did you take a photo?
I love this! I see the connections and it's very peaceful.
I'm going to concentrate on my work and try to feel more comfortable about showing it.
To garner more inspiration from all of the masses of talent out there.
Debra, There is so much talent (including yours) and inspiration. Shine on!
I love these, in kindergarten, I wore a dotted swiss dress in charcoal and red, like those colors. I think when we as artists step out and play, we find our heart growing and beating a bit faster.
I truly heart these and the courage it must have taken - like the first day of school.
They also remind me of a series of work- I will find the correct spelling and get back with you.
Patricia, I will look for your info on the series of work. I plan to experiment with other colors and as usual likely do a series! I was recently reminded by someones's art of pink and white gingham Mother-Daughter dresses we had when I was a little girl!
Karen, I really like the direction you took with this series.
