Fabulous Friday

Have a Happy and Dreamy Valentines Day! My friend Seleta at Simply Seleta has started a brilliant post and it is called Fabulous Friday. I usually create art on larger canvases, however I have been sketching with watercolor pencils in the evening to relax and take time to be grateful.

Momentos

Many of us are focusing more on our homes and making them truly comfortable. An "undesigned" look is to have your own special momentos and cherished items where you can enjoy them every day. The benefit is that these items calm us and bring back memories! You see three shelves from one of my bookcases with art, gifts, books, and precious family photos. I also add, change and move my decor and furnishings around at a whim!

Blues for the Blues

Although it is winter in Kansas City, I am painting in some of my favorite color palettes to bring those memories of warm waters and sunny warmth. Wearing bright colors or a scarf, earrings that brighten. Attending Art Exhibits. What are you doing to chase away those winter blues?
