Stormy Sea in Winter
I love the blend of colors in this work of art. I used the palette knife technique, which at times, when using oils gives an encaustic feel to the work. Possibility of adding more texture in the horizon line....we'll see.
This is beautiful ~ reminds me of Lake Michigan's expanse ~

Karena, it's beautiful. The colors are soothing, even though it's titled stormy :) For using a palette knife I am surprised at the overall smoothness that it looks to have. xo

Karena, This is so beautiful. I can see that you do love the ocean. It's calming and stormy ways, you have always managed to capture so well. Those colors, the grays and blues absolutley draw me in. Looks like you might have an anonymous buyer! I'm sure all your clients want more. xo Lisa
This reminds me so much of the seascapes I recently saw in the Florida keys. The color and shimmering light are pitch perfect and better than any camera could capture!
