In the Pink for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October

 Dear Friends, Family and Followers,
This post is to honor my brave Mother who has been courageously facing the challenges of  Breast Cancer these past few years.  She is getting better and has the best attitude  of anyone I have ever seen. Please enjoy these images  and do anything you can to support funding the cure of this rampant disease which affects every age group!

  5. This is a lovely post, Karena. I appreciate your sentiment and support for you mother and all of those living beyond breast cancer. I'm so happy to hear your mother is getting better. As you know I had the privilege of helping to style an event in Chico to 'Celebrate' breast cancer survivors. The stories are inspirational. Thank you for supporting the cause in such a lovely way.

  6. Kate a, this is a disease that has touched my own family. My mother is a 30 year survivor! And I thank God for that everyday.

Sadly, my cousin lost her battle at the age of 39 .

We all need to be vigilant with our own exams and to encourage other women to do the same.

Prayer for you and your mom!

  8. Hello dearest Karena!
I am a five year BC survivor.
I feel blessed that we caught it soon.
When this dreaded disease touches a family, it is sad and tough. Everyone involved finds a new meaning for the word COURAGE.

I send wishes of healing blessings to you and your Mother.

And your photos are just gorgeous today, and thank you for coming to visit my post. OH our fall weather is so stunning too! Enjoy this walking weather, and I hope your hip is healing well!!!!
