A Winner & Blogging for Charlie- Help a Blogger's son in Need

His older brother, Walker's Art for Charlie. Find it and other great items at http://www.etsy.com/shop/HelpCharlieHeal

My friend Sarah from La Maison Boheme had a baby boy last August. It was determined that Charlie had a stroke in utero and also his little skull had fused prematurely in the womb. The stroke can mean effects on Charlie's motor skills, cognitive and language development.

Charlie is going to have craniofacial surgery this summer  and this is Sarah's plea for assistance.

"One thing that I have learned from Charlie is to ask for help when I need it - humbling, but necessary. Today, I'm finally reaching out to my blog community to help us raise money for Charlie's surgery. Thankfully, we have insurance, but his surgery is out of network and we are on the hook for 40 percent of the total cost. Some dear friends of ours have already created a blog called Help Charlie Heal where friends and family have made and continue to make direct donations to Charlie's medical fund. Now, my son, Walker (Charlie's older brother) and I have opened an Etsy shop to help raise money for Charlie's upcoming surgery. We're selling art cards that feature Walker's original art work."  Sarah from La Maison Boheme

  13. My heart goes out to Charlie and his entire family. My son's name is Charlie and just the thought of something happening to him makes me so scared, so I can't even imagine how the family is coping right now. I went to purchase those adorable notecards and it was nice to see they were completely sold out. xx Danielle
