ReplyDeleteI don't often paint in colour (acrylic is my preferred medium) but I know how difficult it is to create such lightness that you have managed in the clouds above the horizon.

ReplyDeleteWhen I first met my husband he had a sailboat. I had always suffered from motion sickness. He told me to keep my eye on the horizon...that always helped to bring me back around, calm me and regain my balance...this painting inspires me in that way....very beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThis painting could be so many places, I have seen the sea look like that in different places, but most of all it reminds me of Georgain Bay in Canada. It is so deep in parts and has these shades of cobalt blue and turquise and grey. You have captured many things in that painting.
